An Ode to Line Dancing

When I was in high school in the mid-90’s, it was the era of country music that brought the world Shania Twain, The Chicks and Faith Hill; I was all in on this craze at the time. I went to a very conservative Christian school, and we were literally not allowed to dance. As a cheerleader, we tried to sneak in whatever “dance” moves we could, but they were excruciatingly tame, along with the length of our skirts (so frustrating for a teenage girl)…
